We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer to design, implement, and optimize data-driven marketing automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in SFMC, including Campaign Management, Customer Journeys, SQL, AMPscript, and Salesforce integrations. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to collaborate across marketing, sales, and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, and optimize marketing automation solutions using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Build and maintain Journey Builder workflows, Automation Studio activities, Email Studio campaigns, Mobile Studio, and Cloud Pages.
- Create dynamic and personalized content using AMPscript and SSJS.
- Write complex queries in SQL to support automation, segmentation, and data transformation within SFMC.
- Implement marketing data models and manage Contact Builder / Data Extensions.
- Integrate SFMC with Salesforce CRM and other external systems using APIs and connectors.
- Ensure email deliverability, compliance, and industry best practices (IP warming, CAN-SPAM, GDPR, etc.).
- Monitor campaign performance and provide actionable insights through reports and analytics.
- Work closely with Marketing, Sales, and Product Teams to translate business goals into technical solutions.
- Maintain platform documentation, reusable assets, and scalable SFMC modules.
Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud development and administration.
- Proficiency in:
- Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, Cloud Pages
- AMPscript, SSJS
- SQL & Relational Data Models
- REST/SOAP APIs and real-time integrations.
- Knowledge of Pardot
- Deep knowledge of Salesforce Sales/ Service/ Marketing cloud Platform
- Proficiency in LWC, Apex, Salesforce Lightning and Visualforce
- Strong understanding of Customer Segmentation, Personalization, and Lead Nurturing.
- Experience working with HTML/CSS, email rendering, and responsive templates.
- Ability to troubleshoot platform issues and optimize automation performance.
- Strong communication skills and experience working in cross-functional teams.

- Salesforce Certifications such as:
- Marketing Cloud Developer
- Marketing Cloud Email Specialist
- Marketing Cloud Administrator
- Experience with CDP, Marketing Cloud Intelligence (Datorama), MuleSoft, Postman, or ETL tools.
- Exposure to Marketing Cloud Personalization (Interaction Studio) is a plus.
