Solution Architect - AWS Cloud

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Solution Architect to join our dynamic team. The candidate should have extensive hands-on experience in architecting, designing, and implementing cloud-based solutions on AWS, with a preference for AWS GovCloud experience. The candidate should possess deep technical expertise, AWS certifications, and a proven track record of delivering scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures, with a strong emphasis on continuous monitoring and cost optimization.


Skills Required:

  • Strong understanding of AWS cloud security principles, including identity management, encryption, and network security.
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS GovCloud, including security and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using AWS CLI, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts, including VPN, VPC, Direct Connect, and Load Balancing.
  • Experience in monitoring tools (e.g., Cloud Watch, Datadog, Prometheus) and cost management tools (e.g., AWS Cost Explorer, AWS Budgets).

Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex cloud issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Certification: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – (Mandatory).


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement cloud solutions that meet business requirements, with a focus on scalability, security, performance, and cost-effectiveness using AWS services.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and security, to ensure the successful delivery of cloud projects.
  • Lead the hands-on deployment and configuration of cloud infrastructure, adhering to best practices and optimizing for cost-efficiency and resource utilization.
  • Design and deploy secure solutions on AWS GovCloud, ensuring compliance with government regulations and security standards.
  • Ensure cloud architectures meet all security and compliance requirements, particularly for government-related projects.
  • Continuously monitor cloud resources for performance, reliability, and cost, implementing optimizations to reduce expenses while maintaining service quality.
  • Lead the resolution of complex technical issues related to cloud infrastructure, providing root cause analysis and actionable recommendations.
