We are seeking a skilled and technically strong WordPress Developer to support on premise WordPress environment for multiple websites. This requires deep experience with standard LAMP stack setups (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) to manage and maintain the sites based on business needs. The role requires extensive collaboration and communication with multiple stakeholders including other development teams, marketing and sales and other business departments.

Skills Required
- Set up and maintain an on-premises WordPress environment on Ubuntu/Linux servers.
- Manage WordPress plugins, custom themes, and perform ongoing enhancements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement and test new features.
- Troubleshoot and optimize the WordPress environment for performance and security.
- Ensure consistent communication and updates across teams.
Roles & Responsibilities
- 5+ years of proven experience with WordPress development and administration in Linux environments (especially Ubuntu).
- Strong technical expertise in Apache, MySQL, PHP, and WordPress best practices.
- Hands-on experience with custom themes, plugin management, and performance tuning.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within cross-functional teams.
- Ability to independently manage a WordPress infrastructure without reliance on managed services like Azure or Kubernetes.
Experience : 5-10 Yrs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
- Prior experience in transitioning WordPress environments from cloud platforms (Azure) to on-prem setups.
- Familiarity with managing multiple WordPress instances or multi-site environments.
