We are seeking a talented PHP developer to join our team and build dynamic, user-friendly web applications using PHP and PostgreSQL. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of PHP fundamentals, object-oriented programming principles, and experience working with relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL. This role will play a key part in developing and maintaining our backend systems, ensuring data integrity, and contributing to the overall success of our web applications.
Skills Required:
- Proven experience as a PHP developer with 3+ years of experience.
- Strong understanding of PHP syntax, object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts, and
design patterns. - Experience working with a relational database management system, preferably PostgreSQL.
- Experience with SQL queries and stored procedures.
- Familiarity with a MVC framework (e.g., Laravel, Symfony) is a plus.
- Excellent understanding of web development concepts (HTTP requests/responses, sessions,
cookies). - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using PHP .
- Write clean, well-documented, and secure PHP code.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration between the backend
and frontend layers. - Design and implement efficient database queries using PostgreSQL.
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot any database related issues.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in PHP and PostgreSQL development.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality.
- Write unit tests to ensure code functionality.
