Job Overview
We are seeking a customer-oriented, analytical Business Analyst with hands-on experience in client requirement elicitation, analysis, and documentation. You shall have multi-domain experience with strong stakeholder management skills. Depending on the project and system involved, the role will include, but not be limited to, requirements gathering, data analysis, functional specification writing, test case creation, test case execution, technical code review, project management, and analysis support across the entire System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). You will ensure technology deliveries are in line with business requirements. This role requires a detailed understanding of the business areas involved in the project and must be able to translate business requirements into technology solutions and vice versa.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for gathering, analyzing, and providing functional solutions that will be transformed into technology solutions.
- Author functional requirements (SRS, Use Cases, Functionality Matrix, Traceability Matrix, etc.), help documents, and training materials.
- Conduct business analysis and requirement elicitation sessions with customers and relevant stakeholders
- Identify and balance stakeholder expectations
- Coordinate the sign-off of functional requirements and solutions.
- Analyze and manage change requests.
- Ensure compliance to standards such as CMMI, ISO as per organization processes & practices.
- Extensive experience in documenting business requirements to develop technology solutions.
- Experienced in Requirements Management using Agile methodologies
- Exceptionally strong communication skills, analytical outlook, and creative approach towards problem-solving
- Knowledge and experience in UX designing and prototyping tools (UXPin, Invision, Adobe XD, etc.) will be an added advantageProvide support for presales initiatives (preparing proposals, SOWs, etc.)
- Perform estimation based on functional requirements using techniques such as Function Points, Story Points, Use Case Points, etc.
- Perform functional testing and coordinate with the Quality control team to ensure the quality of the deliverable
- Ensure value addition to the organization by building a comprehensive domain knowledge base.
- Outstanding skills in written & oral communications
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Confluence, Jira, MS Visio, MS Office, etc.
- Sound knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
- Working knowledge of any of the functional estimation methodologies such as Function point analysis, Use case model, Story points, etc.
- Experience in supporting pre-sales activities (evaluation, research, SWOT analysis, proof of concepts)Required Skills & Qualifications
